ALESHIA LINK'S NO-HITTER GIVES TACONIC HILLS THE WIN

05-17-09 - On Wednesday at Taconic Hills, Aleshia Link pitched a no-hitter to propel the Titans to a 2-0 victory over Maple Hill. Link used 14 strikeouts to shut out the Maple Hill batters. Kailynn Keeler, Erika Yasinski, and Alyssa Van Alphen each singled for Taconic Hills.

Titans coach Angela Webster commented: "We had a tough day at the plate. We made contact but couldn't find the gaps to get runners on base. Elyse Deruzzio continues to make outstanding plays at third."

Taconic Hills plays Friday at home against Greenville.
