CRANE UNITED BOYS U-12 SOCCER CHAMPIONS
03-12-09 - The Crane United U12 boys received their level 2 championship trophy's at half time of the NY Shockers' playoff game in Latham on February 28. The United team competed in 2 divisions compiling a record of 15-0-1, winning both divisions. The Team competed at Afrims Sports complex in Colonie and Latham. The team will be competing again in session 3 at Afrim's before heading outside for the Spring Travel Season in the CDYSL league. Crane Soccer has players from the Northern Columbia area and fields U8-U17 boys and girls teams. The club also sponsors a Kindergarten-1st grade intramural program in the winter and spring. Coach Dugan said during half time festivities "I'm more impressed with the level of play than the record. Every member of the team is developing strong individual skill and team tactics which is resulting in positive competitive results. That growth is a result of hard work, team camaraderie, a positive attitude and a love of the game"
