To be selected to the team, players must be seniors who have a minimum 3.75 cumulative grade point average and have exhibited excellence in high school soccer. The committee evaluates the players’ academic and athletic information as well as involvement with their communities.
 
Andrew is a 4 year High Honor Student, a member of the National Honor Society, a member of the Model Congress team, an Alter Server at St. James Parish, a youth soccer coach and referee, participated in a student exchange in Spain, was selected to EMC Corporation’s STAR program and won the Xerox award.
 
Andrew was named to the NSCAA/Adidas Eastern Regional Scholar All American team, the NSCAA/Adidas New York State Small School All State Team, the New York State Sportswriters Association Class B All State team, was the Section 2 Class B Co-Player of the Year and the Patroon Conference Co-Player of the Year.  He is a member of and a starter on the Eastern New York State Olympic Development Program 1991 Team and was a starter on the Adirondack Scholastic Team in the Empire State Games.
 
Andrew finishes his Chatham soccer career as a 4 year varsity starter, winning the Class B Sectionals in 2005 under Coach Graham Osman and Patroon Conference Titles in 2007 and 2008 under Coach Justin Forrest.  For his career Andrew had 23 goals and 50 assists, setting the single season and career assist records for Chatham.  His 29 assists as a Senior are 2nd all time in Section 2 and 8th all time in New York State and his 50 career assists are 3rd all time in Section 2 and 21st all time in NYS.
