PANTHERS MOVE ON IN VOLLEYBALL SECTIONALS

02-26-09 - The Chatham Panthers moved into Thursday semifinals of the Section II Class C/D Volleyball Sectionals with a 3-0 win over New Lebanon on Tuesday in Chatham. The Panthers won by the scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-11.

Leading the way for Chatham were a foursome of seniors, Connor Cockroft, with 10 kills, 9 aces, 5 service points; Adam Scaglione, 11 kills, 4 service points, and 1 ace; Kevin Meyers, 13 kills, 4 service points, 1 ace; and Simon Day, with 12 digs, 11 service points, 5 kills, and 1 ace.
