Sectionals: Boys’ Basketball Seedings

Six Columbia County boys’ basketball teams have decided to play in sectionals and have been placed in three different classes based upon size. The county's largest team, Ichabod Crane garnered the eighth seed and a home game in the first round of Class A. Both Hudson and Chatham elected to play in the post season and are in Class B. The Bluehawks are the sixth seed and will host a home game in the first round, while the Panthers, the tenth seed, will go on the road. In Class D, three teams, all from the Central Hudson Valley League, were seeded. The highest seed was Germantown who got the seventh seed. New Lebanon and Hawthorne Valley will both go on the road in the first round as the eleventh and twelfth seed respectively.
