Two athletes, Quinn Calhoun and Josh Keyes, both took part in four wins for the Panthers. Calhoun brought home two individual wins in the 110-meter hurdles and the 100-meter dash and took part in the 4 x 800 and 4 x 400 relay teams. Keyes won three individual events, including the 100, 200, and long jump, and anchored the 4 x 100 team.
Ryan Coon brought home wins in the 1600 and pole vault and was also part of the 4 x 800 relay team. James Brinkerhoff helped by adding three wins for Chatham, capturing the 800, and was part of the 4 x 800 and 4 x 400 teams. Ryan Knightingale picked up two relay wins in the 4 x 400 and 4 x 800.
On the girls’ side, six different athletes captured multiple victories. Leah Wightman, despite not taking part in her normal events, captured four wins. Wightman won both the shot put and pole vault and anchored the 1600 and 3200 meter relay teams.
Cailey Nieto won three events, including two individuals, the 100, and long jump, and took part in the 400-meter relay. Caley Van Brunt won the 200 and was part of the 400 relay team.
Hayley Madsen, Emily Borsch, and Regina Behn each helped in adding two more wins since all three were a part of the 1600- and 3200-meter relay teams.
Up next for Chatham is a meet against Maple Hill on Thursday before the big showdown with Ichabod Crane next week. |
