PATROON CONFERENCE MEDALIST TOURNAMENT

Local golfers headed to Freehold on Thursday to take part in the Patroon Conference Medalist tournament, and at the end of the day, Chatham’s Tommy Reamon topped ICC’s Zach Albery as both posted final scores of 77. Reamon shot a better score on the final nine holes, 36-39, to take home the Patroon Conference title. Albery finished in 2nd, while teammate Justin Maas, who shot an 80, finished in a tie for 6th along with Chatham’s Ricky Kopec.
The undefeated conference champion ICC Riders posted two top six finishes along with Josh Ingham and Derek Wright who both shot 89s, good for 17th place.
Chatham’s Ryan Kozel finished in 13th with a score of 88, while Ryan Boehme finished in 14th with an 88.
Other local golfers who finished high included Mike Jacobsen who was the highest finisher for Taconic Hills shooting an 87 in 13th place. Kyle Preusser shot a 94 for 25th place finish, while Mike Carl finished in 28th with a score of 96. Christy Tiano finished in 30th place for the Titans shooting a score of 103.
For Hudson, Stephanie Bednar led the way shooting a 90, good for 20th place. Chris Parmenteer shot a 91 for 21st place. Brad Holmes shot a 94 for 25th place. Conor O’Neil rounded out the scoring for Hudson shooting a 107 for 31st place.
All golfers who gained qualifying sectional scores now wait for next week when they battle in their respective classes for a shot at a Section II title.
