CHATHAM BUMPED FROM SECTIONALS

The Chatham girls’ volleyball season has come to an end as the sixth-seeded Panthers were eliminated from the Section II Class B volleyball tournament by third-seeded Galway on Tuesday in Galway. The Panthers fell three games to one with scores of 14-25, 11-25, 25-11, and 25-21.

Chatham finished the regular season with an overall record of 14-9 and finished in fourth in the Patroon Conference race. The Panthers boasted a deep squad with a talented junior varsity team as well. Chatham will graduate four seniors from this squad, and they will be big losses since Francesca Bona, Alex Wilson, Jessica Diskin, and Sam Torrey all move on from the team.
