PANTHERS VOLLEYBALL ROLLS TO 2-0 START

The Chatham Panthers gave themselves an early Christmas present on Tuesday, December 23, with a convincing 3-0 home win over New Lebanon . The Panthers won the first game 25-13 before taking the final two by the same score, 25-9. "We're only two matches into our season," said Panther coach Matt Torrey via email. "We're just beginning to find the right combinations on the court."
Connor Cockroft had a big day at the net and serving the ball, racking up a team-high 6 kills, to go along with 7 service points and 4 aces. Kevin Meyers delivered a well-rounded performance for Chatham with 8 service points, 3 kills, 2 blocks, and 1 assist. Wade Klinger turned in a strong performance passing the ball as he picked up 8 assists, 3 service points, 1 ace, 1 kill, and 1 block.
Chatham has a perfect 2-0 for the year with an upcoming match against Berlin on Saturday, January 3.
