LOCAL PLAYERS NAMED TO ALL STATE

Three girls competing on Columbia County teams were named to the New York State Girls All-Star Soccer Teams. Kylie Watt the senior forward from Ichabod Crane was named Second Team All State in Class A after leading the Riders to the Section II Class A Final Four. In Class D, New Lebanon junior Geneva Furlano led the Tigers in both goals and points and was named to the Class D All State Second Team. Rounding out the list is Chatham’s Brittany Keeler. The senior forward was the leading scorer for the Panthers was named Fourth Team All State for Class B.
