On March 31, there will be a special election to fill the seat left vacant by Kirsten Gillibrand, representing New York's 20th District in the House of Representatives. The two major party candidates for the office are Scott Murphy, the Democratic candidate, and Jim Tedisco, the Republican candidate. Last Saturday, when both candidates were in Columbia County, ccSCOOP asked them each the same five questions. We’ll be presenting the candidates’ responses to the questions in separate videos—one for each topic.
