THE MADO PIZZA

07-31-10 - There's pizza and there's Pizza. The toppings, yes, but, ah, the crust. The crust on The MADO Pizza is utterly sublime, slightly salty, crusty, chewy, a crust that with a glass of red wine would constitute a meal.   But the toppings: zucchini just out of the ground, sliced paper-thin, as are the tomatoes. A brush of olive oil and chopped fresh basil. Back to that glass of red wine. It is the best Pizza in Columbia County and is summer at its finest.
