RECIPE : BAKED DELICATA SQUASH

A sharp chef’s knife or cleaver
Baking pan
Aluminum foil
2 delicata squash
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1 tablespoon candied ginger, minced
1 teaspoon dried orange peel
1 tablespoon best-quality butter |

Carefully cut each squash in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds and membrane.
Line baking pan with aluminum foil and place squash, cut side up, on the foil.
Mix together the sugar, ginger, and dried orange peel. Sprinkle equal parts of the sugar mixture over the squash. Then dot with butter.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for about an hour and 15 minutes.
