From what I'm seeing at the farmstands, the rains haven't totally depleted the summer harvest.

Take a break from installing sump pumps, avoid the mosquitoes and make this fantastic ratatouille. I first made it last summer, recipe courtesy of Francis Lam of Salon.com and after tasting the results, I started all over again and made another huge batch to freeze.
It is utterly sublime, the very essence of summer.
